Sir Frankie Crisp

My beautiful baby is so lovable. He has his second and hopefully his last vet visit today. I have to drug him a couple of hours before because he got all shitty with the doctor last time. I didn't witness it. It's hard to believe as he is so sweet natured. I'm planning another photo shoot soon. Shiner hated the pupparazzi. I learned about Spirited on free Acorn TV last week and am watching on tubi. It's Aussie about an eighties English punk rocker ghost and a dentist who leaves her husband. It's as good as The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. I love the characters. Purple Witch sent O, My Ra! a new French teacher, Fifi Poopoo. I also got Elphaba to teach Wicked Spells and Familial Magic. The dreams have been out of hand with the snow. Mummy finds her way in, they've been a lot of fun. We have free Asian TV this week. It's too strange for me. I had to shut The Wailing off. Couldn't take it. I'm hoping to go back to The Farnsworth House the first week in April, we'll see. TTYL...

Poldark 1975 episode 01

Very lazy. Nearly finished the first season on free ACORN TV. It's soo good. Have added the first book to my Amazon cart. Will likely watch the newer series, but can it beat this? Doubtful.

Too Good to Wait for the Book & More

   1/14

I reached over to scribble this dream down, but my dream notebook wasn’t there, so I jotted it down in the back of Catherine Cookson’s The Mallen Lot. It was just too much to miss. It began in college, I was dressed to the nines and wore snakeskin shoes. I had a couple of buddies, and one of them had an eight millimeter film in a canister steeped in acid, that is, LSD. We gathered in a dark little hovel to watch, but something went wrong, and up on the screen it looked like a yellow layer cake with jelly filling and chocolate icing, running and dripping. Meanwhile a small crowd had gathered round to watch. I didn’t know any of them. A couple of the boys were cute and smiling. There was another dark haired one who was on me like Frankie for breakfast. My friends weren’t wild about the newcomers, I could tell. There was a sandy haired girl with a ponytail wearing a navy blue sweatshirt amongst them who obviously liked one of the cute boys and got all shitty with me. I took her outside and straightened her out. By that I mean that she no longer considered me a rival and carried on. Then, two twin dolls, big, maybe four foot tall, made out of tin and painted with chippy acrylics, came at me, dancing down the hall. They had pink faces, blonde curls, and matching blue lace trimmed pants suits. Somehow I avoided them, and my brother joined the crew with his guitar. Supposedly he was to sing a funny new song about Satan. We must’ve been packed into a small dark room backstage. As my friends were still working on the film the dark haired stranger with the big eyebrows was rolling a joint when he bit me and blamed it on my snakeskin shoes. Another I had to set straight, although, this one, I really didn’t like. He was very typical and creepy. I left the room, and there was a dark old ticket stand with a tattooed hand coming from the window, not unlike Thing, motioning for me to come hither. When I did, another white boy with a crew cut jumped out, grabbed me, and pinned me to the floor with a gun to my head. He then tried to hold me down, like I thought I was such a badass, thought I was smart. Then he pulled a pair of brown womens' panties embroidered with colorful tulip buds out from somewhere as if they were mine. I was momentarily in shock, but then, even as I lay there on the floor with the gun to my head, I announced to the gathering crowd that they were Mummy’s underpants. This put him off. Good, I continued. Told him to kill me, then, I wasn’t afraid of him, old lady underpants stealer, and got up.

Then, I dreamed that I was shopping online for Dame Darcy dolls. I had made a little pink flute and noticed that she was selling the same kind, cheap.

I'm considering publishing my first dream book in other formats. Here's the paperback: Dana's Dreams

Free Gaia TV this week. Frankie and I watched Chariots of the Gods from 1970, obviously inspiration for Ancient Aliens and Robert Sephr. We liked it. We're on the fourth lecture of Mystery Teachings now. It's really trippy and deep. Think that had lots to do with the dream. Frankie is just a hucklebuck, so he slept through the lessons.

Brit Box

Free Brit Box TV this week. If you know me you know I love "free" 🙄 TV, England, crafty stuff, and mysteries. Well, let me tell you, Frankie and I started off with Make it at Market with a lady who weaves faeries and unicorns from willow and a carpenter. We were impressed. Then, we tried the British equivalent to cold cases. Hey, if you want to get away with pedophilia, (for the record the term does not automatically come up with The Google Monster because pedos rule the world), rape, and murder move to England. The episodes leave you feeling sick and very happy to have a gun. The last British crime series I watched had a nervous bobby killing a criminal with a filing cabinet. Spare me! This is why Limeys call me a mean NAZI. Tough 💩. Letting a dirty bugger get away with raping and murdering thirty little boys makes even me look good. ☮

The Life After Death Project 1 | Documentary | Full Movie

Free Docudrama this week watched a super film on Zydeco that inspired Fanging with Claude. I've made it to chapter ten, Lancaster. Watched this, it was fascinating. I have that FATE magazine somewhere... Starting the Incas, more inspiration for Fanging with Claude...

Cinderella Shoe Scene | Dutch National Ballet| Marquee TV

Two Gentlemen of Verona was darling. I've seen so many reditions of Cinderella, including a dirty seventies version, that I was certain I'd seen this. Wrong again, looks fab... My apologies, out of commission again... Ebay will be vacationing, feel free to shop my Amazon, Printer's STUDIO, and ZAZZLE shops though.

HOPPER: An American love story | Official Trailer | Edward Hopper | Amer...

Now I'm enjoying this on the free Marquee TV. Damn' it, drinking chablis. Going to be up all night. It's worth it. The Klimt documentary inspired me to add glitter to the trees of my Gettysburg game. That's been sitting around so long it has spaghetti (blood) stains. What will Hopper inspire me to do? I dig shadows and houses.

Jewels – 'Emeralds' first variation (George Balanchine; Beatriz Stix-Bru...

I know, as usual, I'm really not with it. Took me this long to see St. Petersburg's production. I liked it. You have to really like ballet for the dance, the costumes, and the music to enjoy this one. There is no story, so it's not a favorite, but the dancing is exceptional and worth the mention. Where are the saphires? I imagine Sherazade, (a bigger let down), silks and chiffon. The first part, Emeralds, is my favorite, especially the solo. The boys are spectacular though, no doubt. Not a critic. I liked it. Hooray for free Marquee TV. I'd watch AIDA, I swear, if I could make out the subtitles.

KLIMT & THE KISS | OFFICIAL TRAILER | EXHIBITION ON SCREEN

The Scarecrow (Fantasy, Drama) PBS Public Broadcasting - 1972

Free Marquee TV this week. Was happy to discover this. Can tell already it's based on a Hawthorne story I used to teach, Feathertop. Now that I see it's on YouTube think I'll wait to watch it and check out The Entity, think that's a ballet. That book rocks too.

Update: not the same Entity, a few minutes in, I'm calling that a stinker. Trying Gershwin's World, then. They can't ruin that. Can they?

Second update: the Gershwin is cool, but it's just music, and I can listen to Gershwin any time. Dowland Dance, The Washigton Ballet with music by Sting, is more my thing.

Third update: hip, hip, hooray! The Royal Opera has finally come back to The Beatrix Potter Ballet! The original is one of my favorite things. I remember watching it with Mummy in the den as a kid. My Grandpap and Aunt Fawnie got me the original hardback book for Christmas. I still have it. 💓🐇💓

DARK SHADOWS Art Cards

My chatty friends know how restless and lazy I've been. I don't know about you, but we've had a cruel summer. Finally since my regretsy days my DARK SHADOWS art cards are available again as a thirty-six card deck, all the best now with backings. Although this art is featured in my Fun with DARK SHADOWS book on Amazon, some of them are portraits, and these are cards. I only just opened a Printer's STUDIO shop this weekend, but you will also find a couple of DARK SHADOWS puzzles there, and I'm working on several things like a DARK SHADOWS paper doll notebook and a new satire, Fanging with Claude in response to Planet Scam. Stay tuned.

Dreams 8/14

Couple of sweet dreams first, Susie, some Dream People, and I were writing a sitcom. We were working in a sunny office when my high school boyfriend came in for an interview. He looked the same. He said that he didn't know anybody there when I walked up and told him that wasn't true. We hired him. We were thinking about what the sitcom would be like. I said it had to be a comedy. For some reason I was dressed as a french maid, so I would play the maid. I told Susie I thought it would be funny if she played the daughter, a silly, goth, outcast, and she agreed. At this time BJ was not around. We were talking about a theme song, and three of the others had instruments: drums, guitar, and another that escapes me. I said that BJ played piano and saxophone, and that I thought he could write it. Susie and I thought that we could write the scripts like French and Saunders.

In the following dream I was in an obstacle course race with Shiner, crawling under a pink ribbon through the grass.
