Fatty Noir

It's going to take a Black Panther to take out Elizafat, and I got one. I sold Catrine, my only werecat. Hunter James Bond Biden drowned her. Monster High 2 had me wanting Torelei, but I like Fatty better. I love her gloves and hands. She's clawsome. I ordered the new Day of the Dead Skelita too which gives me three, but I'm keeping the Howliday ones in the box. I want the bootique hotel too, soon. Stay tuned for the finale of O, My Ra...

Lotus

I got Lotus, who ought to be my last Himstedt. I'm back up to a dozen with one for sale. I've sold two. Lotus is my third Child of the World from 2005, I also have Ginger, (Maniloa), the Hawaiian, and Gypsy, (Munira), the Sinti Gypsy. Lotus, (Kida), is the Egyptian. I love vintage Health Tex clothes. As much as I love the dolls from this year I like dressing them in vintage and antique clothing. I do not like the samey samey outfits from The World Children Summit. Looks like they got a steal on some cotton. I sold my two German Play Street girls from 2004 to finance trips to Gettysburg. I did not need three German girls. I still have my original Tara. Anyway, I got Lotus from The Dolly Mama on Ebay. If you are a doll collector, I'd check her out. I love Lotus. I've got a huge mess to clean up, Monster High, (don't know when I'll get to finish O, My Ra!), supper, and more. TTYL...

Lost Boys, O, My Ra! to Return

I was real excited to see that Mattel made enough Lost Boys dolls to go around for $65, it's about time. The toy hacks on Ebay are already trying to sell them as preorder 🔥 for anything from $120-$269. Hope they are stuck with them. After I was stoked about my order Mattel sent me this PROUD 🌈💩🌈. Hey, I'm not proud. I tried to cancel my order. I could not. David came today. I'm going to play with him hard for that. O, My Ra! to return starring Sir Frankie Crisp, the Grady twins, Elvira, Colonel Klink and more.

O, My Ra!

It's probably going to be a minute. I am up to chapter 13 in DOC, (Doc Holliday), my second musical satire. I am finishing the cover portrait now. There will be a doll. He will teach shooting and cards at Monster High. TTYL...

Quotes from Bronte and Cookson

Binge reading, trying to catch up with the ones I've been reading the longest. Spring cleaning is also coming early this year, so the doll soaps are iffy; they make a huge mess. Frankie doesn't make that any easier. These are from Anne Bronte's The Tenant of Wildfell Hall and Catherine Cookson's The Mallen Lot, finally getting close to finishing that trilogy that is so good. I was disappointed not to find any of her books at the library sale.

"Keep both heart and hand in your possession, till you see good reason to part with them; and if such an occasion should never present itself, comfort your mind with this reflection: that, though in single life your joys may not be many, your sorrows, at least will not be more than you can bear." Anne Bronte

"The conception of children is not dependent on love...." Catherine Cookson

Sir Frankie Crisp

My beautiful baby is so lovable. He has his second and hopefully his last vet visit today. I have to drug him a couple of hours before because he got all shitty with the doctor last time. I didn't witness it. It's hard to believe as he is so sweet natured. I'm planning another photo shoot soon. Shiner hated the pupparazzi. I learned about Spirited on free Acorn TV last week and am watching on tubi. It's Aussie about an eighties English punk rocker ghost and a dentist who leaves her husband. It's as good as The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. I love the characters. Purple Witch sent O, My Ra! a new French teacher, Fifi Poopoo. I also got Elphaba to teach Wicked Spells and Familial Magic. The dreams have been out of hand with the snow. Mummy finds her way in, they've been a lot of fun. We have free Asian TV this week. It's too strange for me. I had to shut The Wailing off. Couldn't take it. I'm hoping to go back to The Farnsworth House the first week in April, we'll see. TTYL...

Lancaster Doll Show

Another good time at the Lancaster Doll Show. No, I didn't win a door prize this time, but they were Rosie O'Donnell dolls that they couldn't give away: no biggie. She might've been fun for O, My Ra! Yes, that has been put on hold due to life until further notice, but I am still writing Fanging with Claude, working on it. Would love to have it done by Christmas, we'll see. Ron got me adorable Little Peach from the forties for my Japanese house and Holly, a party favor from a Christmas party from a hundred years ago for my stocking. Ru Paul Dragon Queen Monster High is not selling. Sad, I've always liked him. Don't think anybody from The Brady Bunch is woke ass. Lots of Trump supporters loving my Bulletproof tee talking about The RIG. See You there! The corn chowder was better than ever, and I still have my brownie that got a bit squashed in my bag. Frankie was a good boy. He's a very good boy.

Frankie's First Days

Yes, I am dreaming, but they have been going directly to Dana's Dreams Two. Frankie has been eating two small meals a day plus snacks. He loves a bit of milk, about a tablespoon, creamy chicken with pastina, and cheese burger. Ron gave him salmon treats that drive him wild. He jumps up on the counter and tries to get into the cupboard to get them. He now has fish breath. He follows me wherever I go and sleeps on my chest. He purrs until he falls asleep. He dreams. He has had three happy dreams that I know of already. He wakes up kissing me. I should think he is French. He has already been in Miss Barbie Stoner's class at Monster High. I have to put that away. I don't know if the Halloween dance will be canceled. I could take the bus outside. It probably will be though. Frankie's favorite toys are the kitchen rug that he rolls himself up into, so he might've been Cleopatra in a past life and my robes. I have always had a robe fetish myself, so I understand. He chanels Shiner. I am not up for discussing that yet. Working on it. 💓

Jelly Roll Morton - The Pearls (1988)

More inspiration for Fanging with Claude. Up to page eighty, I'm having a ball. I used to have this cd. Bought it on a trip to Volant with Mummy and her girlfriend Sandy when I was in college as an undergrad. It's fab. ♯ Bought my Handel boxed set in the same store as well as a small violin that I sold along with a doll, Cricket, who now resides in New Zealand. He was inspired by a Lenci I saw at auction. Speaking of which, I can't locate Klink's violin or swagger stick for O, My Ra! The set is decorated for Halloween, I'm getting there. I 💗 Enid Sinclair, so glad I scored her. Her claws and shoes are fangtastic.

Ephrata Cloister

We spent a rainy day at Ephrata Cloister. Picture booklets and ebooks will be available soon on Amazon.

Dana Keyes Author Page

In 1732 Conrad Beissel founded Ephrata Cloister, now twenty-eight acres right off of West Main Street in Lancaster County, Ephrata, Pennsylvania. Beissel was a hermit seeking religious freedom and believed in the Second Coming which he thought would lead to a spiritual oneness with God.

The cloister served as a Revolutionary War hospital tending to two-hundred-and-sixty soldiers some of whom rest in nearby Mount Zion Cemetery, which has just been placed at the top of my to-do list.

Conrad Beissel passed away on July 6, 1768 at the age of seventy-eight. The community never quite recovered. The last chaste member died in 1813, they are buried in a peaceful cemetery on the grounds. It became a Baptist church afterwards until 1934. In 1941 the Pennsylvania Historic Museum Commission assumed responsibility and you can tour the grounds and shop at the museum shop which is loaded with charming homemade local crafts and music. I got some paper dolls and an owl finger puppet who I’ve named Conrad. He will become a wise hymnast in my current doll soap O, My Ra!

O, My Ra!

Ron got some homemade lemon chocolate. It’s good. I got a couple of fraktur choral manuscript postcards too. Afterwards we ate at The Lincoln House. I had a vegetable bowl and an apple pear sangria, very nice. They have an Apple Dumpling Festival in the Autumn and a Christmas concert. We’ll be back, and I’ll probably pick up a cd and more. They sell the redware dishes like we got from Cornwall Furnace for the dollhouses, same artist I’m sure. My paper dolls are Pennsyvania German 1765-1800 by Jan Wood Zimmerman, 1988. The cloister is worth a visit for the shop alone.

Dreams 9/17

Oh, my Ra, I dreamed of Monster High! Elizafat showed up with a truck full of treats. Colonel Klink didn't know what to think.
