I made both potato and macaroni salad this year. I'm trying to be twice as good. I'd gotten Easter pasta: spinach and carrot bunny, peep, and egg shaped at Lidyl and could not resist. Neither have any salt or pepper and just two tablespoons of Miracle Whip Light but are off-the-chart delicious with fresh cilantro, pale ale mustard, minced red onion, and a dash of sunflower seeds. Frankie and I just captured the most darling Easter video, the backyard bunnies appreciate the apples, radishes, and cucumbers. Stay tuned. It is Sir Frankie Crisp's first Easter, and I've filled eggs with catnip and treats so he can have an egg hunt. Happy Easter!

Buddah
I'd been saying for years that I was going to check-out the Lidyl market in the little old town where I first lived when I moved out here. What took me so long? Probably because I'm fiendishly loyal and love the Grocery Outlet Bargain Market in Shillington, aka, Loyola, so. But, Lidyl has a good bakery, with organic whole grain bread, (no bleached flour: poison), and wine. Grocery Outlet has neither, that's where they're lacking, and I always have to make a bunch of stops along the way to pick up the things I'd missed. They also aren't great for fruit or produce unless it's local and in season. I got this precious bonsai, who I'm calling, Buddah, at Lidyl for six dollars. They have fabulous hanging plants, succulents, and cut flowers too. Ron says they're European as he's seen them as sponsers on The Tour de'France, but I also saw one in an Australian documentary about a serial killer, so they're out there. Not ready to give up my Grocery Outlet, that I call, The Little Market, the staff are so kind, but I will be going back to the real Lidyl market. Impressed!
