Over the Moon

  Absolutely over the moon with my new Himstedt, Tilly, from 2003. I know, I said my third 2005, the Egyptian, was my last, but I'm back to a proper coven of Himmies and want the Nepalese boy now too. Himstedts are never a disappointment. They had some late Summer and Winter Kinder at The Doll Outlet, so I got to see them in person. I thought they'd be bigger like the Atlanteans. Tilly is perfect, not too big or small. I got her NRFB thanks to getting outbid on another and selling a Cissy, aka Doll Magic. *Thank You, Grandma, Aunt Tilly, and Mummy!* I've sold seventeen dolls in the last ninety days, all sorts, and bought five, so I'm getting better. I usually sell one and buy two. Two are big Himstedts though. The Corpse Bride is on the way. I only spent a dollar more than The Mattel Shop because she is coming to Amazon in September like Beetlejuice and Elvira. Hope the toy hacks lose their shirts. Frankie says forget Tilly, he loves the box. Stay tuned, I'm having my coffee but just got some adorable shots of Arthur. He is so sweet. TTYL...

Himalya Quartz

  A crystal junkie, some of my favorites have come from India. I recently discovered Himalya Quartz on Ebay and ordered the top pink and green one last week. It's already here in the states. I'm used to packages from India taking a month. I could not resist the bottom citrine and just ordered it. I'm sure I'll be getting more crystals from the seller. They are some of the most beautiful crystals I've ever seen. I got three new ones in Gettysburg in April and two from The Crystal Cave a couple of weeks ago. I'm sure my friends will be thrilled because like dolls, I share crystals too. Makes me want another Himstedt, the boy from Nepal. I had friends from Nepal in college that Dame Darcy knows about, Vic and Nick. They were way cooler than Dusty and Rusty the Mormons. 🤣🤣

Lotus

  I got Lotus, who ought to be my last Himstedt. I'm back up to a dozen with one for sale. I've sold two. Lotus is my third Child of the World from 2005, I also have Ginger, (Maniloa), the Hawaiian, and Gypsy, (Munira), the Sinti Gypsy. Lotus, (Kida), is the Egyptian. I love vintage Health Tex clothes. As much as I love the dolls from this year I like dressing them in vintage and antique clothing. I do not like the samey samey outfits from The World Children Summit. Looks like they got a steal on some cotton. I sold my two German Play Street girls from 2004 to finance trips to Gettysburg. I did not need three German girls. I still have my original Tara. Anyway, I got Lotus from The Dolly Mama on Ebay. If you are a doll collector, I'd check her out. I love Lotus. I've got a huge mess to clean up, Monster High, (don't know when I'll get to finish O, My Ra!), supper, and more. TTYL...

My Boys

  I've been so sick, my boys must know. The two of them slept until noon with me today, sandwiched between. They are such good brothers. They did take Ike's girlfriend, Nicki, last night. Ike has been in the den watching television. Vulcan, the samurai Betta, is doing great too. He's very active and loves his posh new home. I might suspect the cats, Rosey and Tat, killed Cupid if he had any wounds, but he didn't. Cupid was a bully, and those cats are huge mates. I'd pity the fool who picked on them. My last Himstedt, Lotus, the Egyptian, is coming today. I'm watching season three of Poldark. I will be starting my notes for IKE, my third musical satire, soon. TTYL... 

 

My Doll Room

Minou with Rena

   Purple Witch got me Rena for Christmas, and Ron got me Minou, the Corsican Himstedt, several years ago when Shiner broke his hip. She was one of the first Himstedts, besides Tara, the German girl that was my first, that I ever saw back in Bethel Park at Bear Trax next to BORDERS. That was a fun place where I also got a big handmade Raggedy Ann, who was always Mummy's favorite Raggedy. Rena's is spelled Raggady, and she is from the same time, over twenty-five years ago. The handmade dress was made for Himmies and came along with another. The booties are Ron's mother's christening booties, kid leather, and over a hundred. I just got my valentines for Ron and Frankie together. Frankie got a cute new caterpillar as he loves Shiner's old dollar store one that he rips up and drowns in his water bowl. This one is a lot furrier and valentine themed, pink and purple. I'm watching something dumb, an 1895 mystery on free Hallmark channel. Haunted Wedding, on the otherhand, was adorable. I've noticed the same fake Tiffany lamp in three different Hallmark channel movies now. I'm painting the cover of Dana's Dreams Two, it is from a dream. I'm also getting together my gifts for The Farnsworth House, Minie' Ball stuff and Captivating Tarot, as well as an original I did of Elizabeth Thorn long ago. TTYL... Happy Valentine's Day! 💕💘💕

  Finally got the pictures from the Leticia Penn Doll Club's Christmas Schoenhut party at The William Penn Inn. That was such a good time. I've already picked up two other dolls I'd coveted there. 🙄 I'm kind of ridiculous. I'm supposed to be saving for my next Gettysburg trip.

Minou's Christmas Dress

   Minou was one of the first Himstedts I ever saw at Bear Trax near Borders in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, in the nineties. They had her and Tara, who I had ordered from Florida a year later and was my first and only Himstedt for twenty years. Minou is the Corsican girl. Ron got her for me a couple of years ago, and she looks darling in her handmade Christmas dress and hundred-year-old leather booties.
