Worry Dolls
I had these as a kid, I either bought them at the mall at The World Bazaar or on vacation in California when I was nine, can't remember which. They're from Guatemala. You tell them your worries at night before you fall asleep, and they take them away. A couple of years ago my girlfriend sent me a bigger set in an organza bag for my birthday, but Ron just got me these same ones I had as a girl in San Antonio. This is the photo he took with his phone from the store display. Says they're made by Mayans. I plan to use them when I Return to Marie's Chateau as I now have a proper coven of Darcinians led by Prince Lucifer, himself, so the Pippas have lots to worry about...

Dreams 1/18
Dreamt I was in a huge doll shop in Volant with Mummy and somebody else I can't recall. This shop does not exist in real life. They had several huge doll cases on the floor. I was looking at a couple of wooden ones that opened like a book and were padded with pillow like plush upholstery like a musical instrument's case. I was thinking you could put your antiques in them, and travel with them in the back of your car when I spotted a couple of gargantuan Barbie like doll vinyl cases. They measured about three by four feet. The one that I was interested in was supposedly a Pippa case. This could not be in real life, Pippa is small, like a Dawn doll. The dolls on the outside of the case were not Pippa or Barbies, more like a Barbie doll knock-off. I'd say the closest thing to them would be the seventies Sunshine family. They were depicted sitting at a table, having a meal, with a green backdrop. Inside the extensive case, which was like a regular old Barbie doll case, not a fancy Sleep and Keep, only huge, there were lots of loose old dolls, clothing, and accessories, but the only doll I recall had a short dark bob and a purple sparkly boa. Anyways, I bought the case. Next thing I know is that I'm standing on the doorstep of the shopkeep, who was supposedly one of Mummy's friends. The house was an old wooden, two story. It looked small from the front, was painted white with green trim, and looked as if it could do with a paint job as it was flaking. There were piles of hard packed snow all around. Once inside the place looked lavish, large, and fully decorated for Christmas. The walls were painted dark red and green but there were golden reindeer, garland, and candles so it seemed bright and welcoming. There was at least one dark haired daughter. Then, we had to go and pick-up my real doll case. Not sure how that worked, but mine was just an old sample or something, so we were now at a place which seemed as if you would buy a shed or rent a truck, there. The case I got was just like the other on the outside, only new and empty.
