Tommy Roe - Sweet Pea

MaMa Pumpkin is New Again

While I'm cleaning out Vishnu's tank had to share the pumpkin at the front door. Last year Ron got me a big moonlight white pumpkin. It was too heavy for me to move, so she's been sitting by the front door between the holly all this time. It's been so hot that I have to water her. I've been using the water from the fishtanks. She's enormous. I had to drape her over the holly, otherwise we wouldn't be able to use the front door. My five dollar little market mums from last year and the morning glory that reseeds itself around the mailbox are also gigantic. Fishtank water is good stuff. I change their water once a week, about twenty-four cups. I have three small aquariums. I recycle it for my houseplants too. The Norfolk pine is stunning, and I had a bit of holly that I'd decked the halls with years ago that has to be transplanted outside as she has outgrown her pot.

Dreams 8/3

Cannot remember all the details of this dream, but it was a wet night. I was with a small family on the English coast. I might've worked for them. The young couple had two small children, a girl and a boy. The father was in a car accident, I think, some sort of accident, and he lay beneath a pink blanket. His wife and I were talking to him, trying to comfort him.

There Is a Light That Never Goes Out (2011 Remaster)

Freixenet Pinot Grigio

One of my new favorite summer wines.

Beyond FIXED

Well, burn me at the stake, Popeye, said I wouldn't watch The Laff-A-Limpics for the same reason I stopped watching Project Runway, they're as FIXED as everything else. Turns out, no joke, I almost forgot what a criminal enterprise they are. Planet SCAM! 🤮

Beating Women for Sport

Cock and dog fights are more legit than this illin' 💩. I imagine Bill Cosby, like Nancy Kerrigan's mother, sitting in front of his TV laughing his old fat rapist ass off.

Oh, I thought the dirty frogs were apologising for the fact that a hideous dude was beating up ladies. NOT. No apologies for their heinous Satantic opening ceremony. That figures, boycott the dirty RIGGED Olympics. Leonidas would cry. Disgusting 💩

Dreams 8/2

The dreaming began with a cloth bound book missing its dust jacket. It was purple and had an old woman in an apron embossed in sparkling turquoise. She might've been a witch. She seemed to be dancing, her apron was caught up in the breeze. Beneath her two children crouched by a washtub. They looked Dutch by their wooden clogs. The girl had long braided pigtails. It might've been a book of fairy tales.

In the following dream I was in a cafeteria eating lunch with my friend, Rick. There was a dance coming up, and Rick seemed too thick to realize I wanted him to take me. Later, after the dance, we were leaving, and my grade school friend, Karen, was at the door. She wanted to talk to Rick who was disinterested.

The third dream began with me packing for a hiking trip. My backpack was very heavy, and I moved like a turtle due to the two hardback books, one my gigantic college Shakespeare book. I was wearing Mummy's thick brown parka. I'd gotten to an Asian woman's apartment where I opted to leave the Shakespeare and switch to her much lighter leather vest that was loaded with little zippered pockets up the sides. I slipped some pot into the bottom pocket on the left. She didn't seem very happy about the lending. I think her husband was going on the field trip with us. He looked very much like that count in France who murdered his entire family and skipped the country. He wore rose or amber colored sunglases, not sure which, they seemed to change. When I got on the bus it was already very crowded, the black pleather seats were mostly taken. My Aunt Judy was there, a woman in a tan jacket sat beside her. The spot next to my highschool English teacher, Chris, was free, but she had a little black satchel there. She smiled uncomfortably. I sat down adjacent to Aunt Judy and was chatting with her when I woke.

Arthur's Big Day

I was lucky to get to spend the day celebrating Arthur. He deserves it. We started with a rose water groom before driving out to Crystal C...
