Woody
Finally captured Woody. He's been living at Woodpecker Haven this past season. That's a tree off the back patio that the birds planted along with the wild roses and faux honeysuckle. I call it that as there is a couple of other smaller species of woodpeckers who live there as well, so I'm expecting young ones in the spring. The little ones moved in first, followed by Woody. My camera stopped working, so I had to resort to my movie camera which takes much better pictures: faster focus and allows clear zooms. Woody is quick. He hits the feeder, flies off, and returns. Although I see him all the time, (he's quite big), I'd yet to capture a clear shot. I got two.
